Keynote Speakers

Latest tire-related legal requirements & recommendations

Europe is following the US: TPMS are becoming mandatory from November 2012 on. Car manufacturers are right now preparing to meet all legal requirements. Now the European industry is considering the driver’s acceptance of TPMS. Experiences made in the US so far are therefore interesting to learn from. Strongly related to the issue of TPMS is the discussion of further functionalities of the tire sensor – the search for the intelligent tire. Announcements are made for serial introduction of a tire sensor.

Another main challenge for the tire industry is the introduction of tire labeling. Countries world–wide are following the European example and introduce legal requirements for tire labeling. However, requirements vary from country to country, which makes compliance for the tire industry extremely difficult.

Meet your industry peers and learn the latest technologies for the intelligent tire!

Join us in Darmstadt at IQPC’s 8th Annual Conference Intelligent Tire Technology from 24 – 26 September, 2012 to discuss the latest legal requirements & recommendations, newest developments in tire sensors and tire simulation.

Key issues to be covered:

  • Find out about the latest tire-related legislation & recommendations worldwide and ensure legal compliance in all key markets
  • Learn about enabling technologies for the intelligent tire and discuss how to guarantee reliability of the tire-sensor connection
  • Assess the properties and requirements for advanced tire materials to optimise tire performance
  • Capitalise on latest advances in tire simulation to reduce development time
